Be safe, and take care of you and yours. We in central Texas went through this last year - it's horrifying and devastating. Many hugs to you, and please, if you need anything, know that we're here to help, even if we're far away.
Take care, Mugs. My heart is with you and your folks and critters. I know how helpless fires can make you feel. I live in Northern California, and a few years ago it seemed like the smoke would never lift - and if it did, we weren't sure what would be left to see. Had to do an emergency cattle drive out of the mountains at night with 400 pair of black angus through dense smoke - 8 adrenaline soaked hours of invisible switchback trails pushing panicky invisible cattle. Thank god for good horses!
