Missing Horse

This really, really stinks. This lovely horse was stolen in New Mexico. Why would you steal a little girls horse when you can go pick one up at a sale or off CL for $50? Keep your eyes open folks....

  2. Oh that's awful! I will spread the word to those I know out west, I have horsey friends in CA and CO but none in NM. Long shot but worth a try.

  3. Q: Why would you steal a little girls horse when you can go pick one up at a sale or off CL for $50?

A: Because when it's stolen, you get $50 more in profits when you sell the horse for meat.

Some people have no heart. I hope the little girl gets her horse back. I posted on Facebook and I'll cross post on my own blog too. I'm in Colorado, so who knows -- maybe the horse will make it this way, instead of south to the border.

  5. I certainly hope the mare comes home safe and sound...but unfortunately that is unlikely. What an awful thing. Let us know...

  7. This is the thing that I would fear the most. WHO ON EARTH would take a little girl's horse! In my mind, it doesn't make sense and I am infuriated! That child must be destroyed, I am nowhere near that area, but if I was, I would drive around just to see if I can't spot the horse... I hate to think that it might have already gone to auction...
