Me too, when she's all spooky!

JackieHorsesAndTurboshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03607758320356759231noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4380534023229200743.post-7691734476656107682010-11-10T04:12:43.479-07:002010-11-10T04:12:43.479-07:00I have lessons with a none-more-classical dressage...I have lessons with a none-more-classical dressage instructor ( unlike many people you see here he doesn't talk about it like it's an advertising slogan, he's just way deep in that tradition ) and the balancing exercises you advocate are much similar to what we do in lunge lessons to develop a steady seat.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4380534023229200743.post-29681480018643188602010-11-09T21:05:20.146-07:002010-11-09T21:05:20.146-07:00thanks for the "safe spot" explanation. ...thanks for the "safe spot" explanation. Very much appreciated. You've referred to it before, but not gone into the specifics--that I know of. Will have ...I love the "safe spot" idea. Will have to give it a shot on my two green ponies I'm training for my little girls...both have "past lives" of abuse.

I have a question (I know you're probably drowning in them). Do you care about a horse's past? I mean, do you want/need/care to know if they were abused or spoiled all there lives? Does it make a difference in how you work with them? Or do you handle them all the same and just start from square one with each horse, expecting that they'll all come around to the same point eventually? (sorry - I guess that's more than one question)Half Dozen Farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00253311679688366394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4380534023229200743.post-64671109879199644952010-11-09T14:56:01.120-07:002010-11-09T14:56:01.120-07:00Becky...what Nagonmom said...Becky...what Nagonmom said...mugwumphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00319060800328355056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4380534023229200743.post-85218258675452640072010-11-09T12:52:17.976-07:002010-11-09T12:52:17.976-07:00I wanted to comment yesterday, on the video. But confined in a room with a computer on death sentence lock down, commanding yourself to "WRITE" sounds horrid. Go easy on yourself, if not at the newspaper (I know, reality and all) then here. Loved the video.

like a death sentence "WRITE"nagonmomnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4380534023229200743.post-65272866761243284272010-11-09T11:21:08.116-07:002010-11-09T11:21:08.116-07:00LOVE LOVE LOVE the balancing exercises you mention...LOVE LOVE LOVE the balancing exercises you mentioned!
